UK Ring Size Guide
Every Noir Flare ring is made to order in any UK size from F to Z, including half sizes. Here's how to find yours.
The most accurate option: get sized in person

Measuring at home
- Cut a thin strip of paper, about 6mm wide, or use a length of string.
- Wrap it around the base of the finger. It should be snug, but able to slide over your knuckle.
- Mark where the strip overlaps, then lay it flat and measure to the mark in millimetres. That's your finger circumference.
- Find that measurement in the chart below.
Tips for an accurate measurement
- Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest.
- Avoid measuring when your hands are cold, as fingers shrink.
- Measure two or three times and use the most consistent result.
- If your knuckle is much larger than the base of your finger, size up slightly.
- Wide bands fit more snugly, so consider going up a half size.

Half sizes sit between the letters. If your measurement falls between two rows, choose the half size, or the larger of the two.
Buying as a surprise
If it's a proposal and you can't measure their finger, you have three options:
- Borrow a ring they already wear on that finger and measure its inside diameter, then match it to the chart. Make sure it's worn on the same finger and hand.
- Ask someone close to them who might already know.
- Choose “Not sure of my size” at checkout. We'll confirm the size with you before your ring is made.

Common UK sizes
Most women's engagement rings fall between K and O, and most men's rings between S and V. These are only averages, so measure wherever you can.
If the size isn't right
If your ring doesn't fit, we'll resize it free of charge. Let us know within 3 days of receiving it. Some designs, such as full eternity and pavé-set bands, may need to be remade rather than resized, and we'll tell you if that's the case before any work starts.
