1. Consultation and brief

The process begins by defining the style, budget, metal, diamond preferences and ring size. Clear decisions at this stage can prevent unnecessary delays later.

2. Diamond or gemstone sourcing

If the ring requires a particular shape, carat range or specification, suitable stones need to be identified and compared. Unusual requirements can take longer than selecting from readily available options.

3. Design development

A bespoke ring may require sketches, CAD development or revisions before production. More complex settings naturally need more design work.

4. Production and setting

Once approved, the ring moves into manufacturing, stone setting, polishing and finishing. Quality control and final sizing should not be rushed simply to meet an unrealistic proposal date.
